Stapled, light tan toned wraps with photo of hikers on Uncle Tom's Trail. Some light edge and corner wear with one short closed tear on front edge. There are also a couple of small chips on spine edge. Old damp stain on back in bottom corner at spine; this affects some interior pages but not text. Overall aging. The center page (18 - 22) is loose from the staples.
This is a collection of songs that were sung at Yellowstone Camps between 1928-1936. The booklet is not dated but is from that 8 year span. The songs suggest a different time, for example -- "Camping with the Y.P.C." (to the tune of "Jingle Bells") -- "Dashing through the park,/ In a Ford or motor car." Chorus -- : Honk that horn, honk that horn,/ A camping life for me."
