Rowdy Hall now located on Main Street in the village of Amagansett, has established a stellar reputation as an American pub taking cues from classic English pub and French bistro cuisine. Opened in the Village of East Hampton in July of 1996. The Arts and Crafts inspired dining room, with a beautiful copper topped bar quickly became an East End favorite.
Rowdy Hall takes its name from the turn of the century boarding house frequented by artists who visited East Hampton. According to local lore, when church-going locals would pace the place still full of reveling guests on Sunday mornings, they declared the establishment to be a "Rowdy Hall."
